Reporting to the Manager Corporate FP&A, the Senior Analyst will be the finance business partner of Recochem’s worldwide operations and will support the future expansion of the company by providing business intelligence to the C-suite executives.
You will be responsible to develop and maintain a set of monthly financial reports and key performance indicators that will provide insights into the performance of the business and the execution of our key business initiatives. You will support process improvement as well as the tracking of corporate initiatives and expenses.
This position will be based in Montreal.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis :
Provide analysis of monthly financial results and participate in the preparation of the monthly presentation for the Board of Directors.
You will play a key role in the budgeting process, both in supporting the consolidation of global business units as well as preparing the corporate level budgets.
Improving the forecasting process, including the continued development of detailed financial models and the analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's overall strategy.
Monitor and enforce data integrity standards across all month-end reporting. Ensure reconciliations are performed on a timely basis both by Corporate FP&A and by the Business Units reporting into Corporate.
Ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling.
Analytical tools and system:
Be a key resource providing support and leading processes in Fluence and Workiva.
Update process documentation and identify control or information accuracy issues for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business. CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or accounting. Open to candidates with only audit experience.
Strong analysis skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
Problem-solving and critical thinking.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous assignments.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various levels of Management across the world.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Experience in PowerBI, Fluence, Workiva or Microsoft D365 considered an asset.
Fluent in English is mandatory in both writing and speaking and bilingualism (French and English) is highly preferable.
